Empowering Today's Professionals (ETP) and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "ETP") are committed to your privacy, and have created this privacy statement to explain the information gathering and dissemination practices for the www.ETPnetwork.org or www.ETPnetwork.com websites, and/or any associated or affiliated websites, including local partner websites (collectively, the "Site").

Information We Collect.
In order to operate the Site and provide you with access to products, services and information that you may be interested in,
ETP may collect (i) "Contact Information" (including, name, address, phone, email, etc.); (ii) "Demographic Information" (including, zip code, DOB, income level, gender, IP addresses, etc.); and (iii) "Financial Information" (including, credit card numbers, billing info, account numbers, etc.).

How We Use Information 

Threads, Postings, Newsgroups & Databases. To access and/or post to threads, discussions, newsgroups, databases and/or other information or services, users must complete a registration form and provide us with Contact Information and Demographic Information. We use this information to verify your identity, to tailor your experience at our Site, and to send you information about ETP, events, training or other offers we consider appropriate for career management, job search or business management. We may also use this information to notify you of changes to the Site, or to request your participation in surveys or other promotions. Please note: in the case of forums, threads or newsgroups hosted through some third party (for example, LinkedIn Groups), such third party's privacy policy may also apply. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read any applicable third party privacy policies.

Purchases and Other Transactions

To purchase goods or services (including, without limitation, tickets to events, webinars) that may be offered from time to time on the Site, users must complete an order form and provide us with Contact Information, Demographic Information and Financial Information. ETP uses the Contact Information to verify your identity, to create internal account numbers in our record system and to provide relevant company and/or event information to ticket purchasers. ETP uses the Financial Information to process, charge and fulfill orders.

Site Administration

We may use your IP address or other Demographic Information to (i) tailor your experience at the Site; (ii) help diagnose problems with our server; (iii) administer our Web site; (iv) help identify you/your shopping cart; and (v) gather broad-based demographic information.

Sharing Information
Personally Identifiable Information. No unique identifiers, financial information or other personally-identifiable information is shared with third parties, except to the extent that (i) such information must be disclosed to process orders and/or bill users for purchases (for example, we must submit your credit card information to a payment processing company to charge you for purchases of goods or services, and may need to provide your mailing address to a fulfillment/mailing partner to have goods you purchase sent to you); or (ii) such information is necessary to provide you with services you have paid for.

Aggregated Information

At times, we may share non-personally-identifiable information and/or aggregated user information with potential partners, advertisers, investors or other interested third parties.

ACQUISITION OR MERGER OF THE COMPANY.
ETP MAY TRANSFER ALL COLLECTED INFORMATION (INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION) TO ANY SUCCESSOR IN INTEREST TO EMPOWERING TODAY'S PROFESSIONALS LLC, SUCH AS AN ACQUIRER OF THE COMPANY, OR TO ANY COMPANY THAT ETP LLC MERGES WITH.

Change in hosting or other online services

ETP may transfer and/or share ALL collected information (including personally identifiable information) in the event that ETP changes hosts or other online service providers, and such change requires the transfer of such information in order to continue offering ETP service at the Site.

Law Enforcement
ETP may also disclose personally identifiable information if it determines that an applicable law, regulation or legal process requires it, or if ETP determines that it needs to share such information to protect or enforce ETP's rights or the rights of another user.

Information Security
ETP may implement certain security measures in its endeavors to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under its control. Please note, however, that the Internet is not completely secure, and your information may therefore be subject to interception or loss which is beyond our control. Accordingly, ETP assumes no responsibility or liability for the disclosure of your information (personally identifiable or otherwise) due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access or other causes beyond ETP's reasonable control.

In addition, if you choose to voluntarily disclose any information in a public section of the Site, that information could be found and used by third parties.
ETP does not control the actions of users in public sections of the Site, so if you disclose information in a public area, you do so at your own risk.
